today was a meaningful, nonetheless, fun, day. hehehe.
managed to DRAG myself up early in the morning at 8am to go orchard & meet fionawong, before heading to the open space in front of taka for CIP! woooohooo~ that fiona arrived super late hahaha and my battery was running low. made me frantic like crazy. i thought i charged my phone last night.. hmmm.
thereafter, we proceeded to help in the street sales of heart shaped balloons, from 9-2pm! it was so fun la, esp filling up the balloons. the helium gas exerted such great pressure on the balloon skin that it made a loud squeaky voice when we were filling it, damn funny can hahaha! street sales was not bad, there were several generous couples, many of whom bought 2 balloons from us for their kids, costing them a whooping 4 bucks! wahh, if i were them, i totally would not spend my money in this way can! LOL.
oh anw, we clashed w another event which was also happening today, FLAG DAY. not sure of the organisation though =/ yeah but anw there were DOZENS of acs guys doing flag day laa, then it was super funny we kind of 'barter traded' w them - they buy our balloons, we help them donate. it's a win-win situation hehh. somemore our balloons would serve to attract people's attention to their tin cans hahaha. there was this 2 acs guys who were damn funny ahahhaa they bought like x no. of balloons, but not all from us la. HAHAHA super flirt la i bet they bought like one from each rgs/rj girl or sth. LOL.
we slacked awhile at taka to makan and drink lemonade, and ate ice-kachang at cine. hahaha. the weather was simply unberable lah, it was sheer torture just standing under the sun carrying so many balloons.
talking about holding so many balloons, there was this amusing incident. i was holding about 5 balloons in one hand and a couple wanted to buy a red balloon and a white one. so fiona helped me to separate them out, but we realised that all the strings got tangled up! OMG in the end i just gave everything to the guy hahaha! he looked super funny carrying 5 balloons hahahah i think his gf was also damn amused by our actions la hahaha so sweet lah LOL. =D
yah, anw overall it was a fun event la (: enjoyed it. hahah.
went for tuition after that, and i gave a red colour heart shaped balloon to yihui okay! hhahah i kept a pink one for myself LOL. mr chua was super amused when we brought it to tuition just now HAHAHAHA.
tuition was okay. went hm str after that, and SHIT, im having flu now.
